Tasks set by the client in the project
The task was to provide convenient control of a house from iPad and to reduce the number of switches to a minimum, as the walls are covered with wood and stone.
Project description:
Smart home system on the basis of HDL Buspro equipment provides convenient control of lighting, climate, sound, actuators and security systems in the house, the garage, the annex and the territory. The main control is done from iRidium interface for iPhone and iPad. iPads mini are wall-mounted in the rooms. The interface was design with regard to the special feature of the project – there very many light groups and motorized blinds in the house. The interface on iPad is used not only for remote control from a personal iPad, but for main control from tablets stationary installed in the rooms. That’s why we had a task to organize a maximally fast access to control items of the room and to delete unnecessary nesting of interface items.
Blinds, shutters, windows
There are motorized blinds in all rooms, shutters on the first and second floor, actuators on all windows. All actuators can be controlled from mobile devices, they are also parts of general scenes.
Lighting:
There are 64 lighting groups in the house and 15 lighting groups on the territory that are switched on and off from iPad. Part of lights is dimmed. Light is automatically switched on by sensors and time of day when a car enters and leaves the territory. There are scenes to switch off light in the whole house, in certain rooms, garden lighting scenes, and automatic light switch of by sensors.
Climate:
Centralized control of conditioners, convectors, radiators and warm floors. The mobile interface can control temperature in each room remotely. There is a special mode to view fast all climate settings in the house.
Security
Video surveillance system is installed. Video from the cameras can be seen on mobile device in iRidium interface. IP intercom system is installed: two gates are remotely controlled. Fire alarm system is installed. The house also features leakage control and back-up energy supply.

The house is equipped with audio multiroom.
