Integration of a complete automation system onboard a private yacht
Project description:
"SM-TEH" Ltd company created a project that integrates a complete automation system onboard a three-deck private yacht (35,6 meter long and 6,9 meter wide). An individual interface was designed on the basis of iRidium mobile platform. The designed interface allows to control different functions of automation and multimedia systems of a vessel with comfort and ease. What can be controlled: audio and video multiroom systems of the yacht, smart glass, actuators for blinds, table lifts, TV lifts, lighting system. Scenes, created in the project, allowed to cut the number of switches, to decrease energy consumption and in general improve the comfortable atmosphere. The special feature of the project is integration with GPS, that allows to get more precise information about the current location of the yacht on a satellite map easily..
Difficulties you faced while working on the project:
The main difficulty was the distant location of the object (Kazan) and limited time.
